Q -How did WSDC start?
A - Russel Kellmer went to National Campers for Deaf (NCD)
When he went back home after NCD event and decided to stop by the Allens.
Jim and Russel had a long talk and made decision to start WSDC to have western states event every 2 odd years.
They started planning around July 2006. They worked many many hours, days, months planning in creating an event where the western part of US can meet for a week every odd years * tend to be in the summertime (June- September)
Jim was doing business like reserving bus, rent rooms for events.
Russel was working on regristration forms, pictures, adversite for WSDC first camping event July 8-14, 2007.
The number of attendees were 222 campers including RVers and fans.
